New Art Toy
I have been really enjoying one of the items I bought myself with a gift card I was given for Christmas from Opus Art Supply.
It is this great watercolour paper pad. The pages are cold pressed, 200 g/m2 , 90lbs, 9.5″x12.5″.
I have been mostly using
my twinkling h20 water colours. The sparkle/glimmer effects do not show up on here unfortunately.

Our scanner needs a new cord to be able to hook up to our newer computer, so I have to take pictures of the paintings to be able to share them with you here. I hope you like them.
Have a great day & keep smiling,
Nicci

Taking the EDGE off….
I have not been able to sleep well in about 2 weeks now and it is definitely catching up with me.
Yesterday, I should have been walking around wrapped up with ‘caution’ tape. Talk about crabby!
Today is a better day though. I had a little inside mental chat with myself and have accepted the fact that right now I am very tired and that my shoulder and back are killing me, but I am still getting off a lot better than others.
I think it also helped to paint something yesterday that had no deadline and no purpose other than to emerge and be what it is. The picture is of the watercolour card I painted last night using twinkling h2Os, black felt pen, and oil watercolour sticks. Her name is ‘Harmony’, and will be placed up for sale in my ETSY online shop today.
How could you not feel better looking at her?
Keep smiling and creating!
Nicci
