Glitter Goddess Gathering #1

5 of us crafty ladies got our Glitter On last Monday night in my kitchen. We made 3d sacred hearts while we told personal stories which brought out loads of laughter and lots of fun!

Here are a few Photos I took with my camera. I will upload the picture of my sacred heart soon (as the batteries needed recharging for my camera).

How do you like my new hand painted kitchen chair?
So far I have 3 coats of verathane on it and plan to add about 3 more.

The acrylic jewels do not seem to stand out in the photo unfortunately.

I cannot wait to paint more!

New Art Toy

I have been really enjoying one of the items I bought myself with a gift card I was given for Christmas from Opus Art Supply.
It is this great watercolour paper pad. The pages are cold pressed, 200 g/m2 , 90lbs, 9.5″x12.5″.

I have been mostly using my twinkling h20 water colours. The sparkle/glimmer effects do not show up on here unfortunately.

Our scanner needs a new cord to be able to hook up to our newer computer, so I have to take pictures of the paintings to be able to share them with you here. I hope you like them.
